The original concept of the Sunset Harbour Marina  at Carlo Point was as a yacht  charter base and operated as such for many years, and also for a time used for houseboat hire. Today it operates as a base for deep sea fishing charters and the Dolphin Ferry Cruise boat, plus as a marina for private pleasure boats.
